The R.M.Williams Spring Summer ‘19 Collection takes inspiration from ‘Hoofs & Horns’, the iconic magazine founded by R.M.Williams in the 1940s. The cast of muses for the season are the breakaway cattlemen who formed the Australian Rough Riders Association, to fight for the right of stockmen and cattle graziers.

The seasonal colour palette takes its cues from the vivid cover art of Hoofs & Horns and the saturated tones used in R.M.Williams brand advertising images from the period: washed black, deep indigo, turquoise, pale cornflower blue, redwood, pale straw, ash, ecru, eucalypt, redwood, dusty pink, and burnt gold.

At the foundation of the SS19 ready-to-wear collection is a range of rural inspired waxed and weathered outerwear and check shirting. Linen and linen blends add a textural layer to both the menswear and womenswear collections, while a modern twist is added to the 1940s inspired collection by leather outerwear, refined work shirts in premium fabrications and archival denim styles made in Australia using Cone denim. This seasons t-shirt range for both men and women feature artwork inspired by the 1940s and 50s Hoofs & Horns covers, paying tribute to the brands heritage.
